Bangus

The Bangus Valley, also known as Bungus Valley, is situated in the Kupwara District of Indian Administered Jammu and Kashmir, west of Handwara town. Nestled in the Pir Panjal range, it is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, featuring snow-capped mountains, lush green forests, and crystal-clear streams. Accessible from two directions, one from Kupwara side, approximately 42 kms from the main town of Kupwara, and the other from Handwara side, about 29 kms away, both roads are nearly completed, facilitating easier travel to this picturesque valley.
